Elena Abrashitova was born on March 21, 1974 in the Ukraine and was coached by Oleg Ostapenko (the head coach of Ukraine) and alongside Natalia Kalinina and Tatiana Lysenko.
These three girls trained together for years, and in those years they formed a strong friendship bond.
